Just recieved the new harness kit from GM for the LS2/3/7 motors. I ordered the kit for the LS2 p/n: 19166568. It comes with a harness that is completly labelled, what looks like a E67 ECU, throttle pedal, (2) O2 sensors with bungs for your headers, a MAF with the bracket to mount it into your intake tract, and a set of instructions. The fuse block has all the relays and wires ready for your fuel pump and cooling fans along with MIL in the center. There is also a MIL, VSS output, Tach output, and Oil pressure output among other things that are in the bulkhead connector that go inside the car along with the diagnostic port
The best part about the kit though is the price.... $815 from Scoggins Dickey.
Hopefully it works as good as it looks.

Wow - that price looked rather high at first glance, but given the other stuff that comes with it, I can see some value there. Plug & play sure must be nice...
Although, if I was going to spend that much on the harness/wiring, I honestly think that I'd send it to John @ Speartech. Nothing at all against the harness you've gotten, but he was good enough to answer a couple of questions for me last week when I needed immediate answers (found a harness on craigslist locally, needed to know if I should jump on it or not...).
That's definitely a cool setup you've got though! 
Although, if I was going to spend that much on the harness/wiring, I honestly think that I'd send it to John @ Speartech. Nothing at all against the harness you've gotten, but he was good enough to answer a couple of questions for me last week when I needed immediate answers (found a harness on craigslist locally, needed to know if I should jump on it or not...).

yeah if you already have a harness then it's probably easier to get it modified and get it to work. In my case I didn't have anything and all the little stuff that came with this one will nickle and dime you to death....

When this engine swap was happening, GM Performance Parts didn't have an EFI controller for the LS-series crate engines, but it does now. PN 19166567 is a new GMPP plug-and-play controller for the LS7 (PN 19166568 for the LS2). Unlike the MSD controllers, these are nonprogrammable units, meaning they come with the factory tune for the production engine. GMPP is looking into releasing programmable units for the entire LS crate-engine family, but the company doesn't have them yet. I'm guessing that means they don't come with software for tuning, but they plan on having one that does include some sort of tuning software. I see no reason why you couldn't get this ecu tuned at a shop that does tuning on late model GM stuff. I could be wrong though....
Any idea on how to tell what kind of ECU this is? It looks like a e67 to me.

I woner if you can reflash them or something? I see on the case it is stamped E67??? Oh well, if I decide I need to tune my motor I think I can get another E67 ecm for pretty cheap.
