i sent my harness to lt1350.com, lt1wiring.com BAD
i have let my project sit for about a year, i had sent my harness off my 2000 5.3 and 4l60e to lt1350.com, bad idea i think. there are no relays or fuses at all, all pinks are just bunched up into one 10g red, that says ignition hot. all the plugs i dont need: egr, second O2 sensor plugs, evap, and AIR stuff is still in the harness. i peeled back some of the wrap and there is a black wire with a white stripe just cut and in the open. Suggestions?? should i just go buy a painless harness and forget it. i dont know if i can even fix his mess. i got the entire wiring harness on my 99 wrangler all ready for my motor, i am just stuck on this piece of crap 5.3 harness.
Thanks

yeah i am finding this out, i am thinking i might go with painless. it is a big company and they have been doing it for years. the one thing i like is that i need to add wires to the loom for my lokar indicator and 4wd switch and i can easily just wrap it up in the painless harness while im at it.

That's how my LT1 harness was. I didn't have fuses or relays on stuff, but it worked with no problems. I dont know if this is different on the LS1 or not. I have seen quite a few swaps with relays and fuses for the other wires besides the computer plugs.
Have you read anything from people that have had a harness done by this company?

If you look at a factory system, there are fuses for several circuits. Each injector bank, the MAF and O2's, the computer powers, and the transmission.
It will work without fuses, but if there is ever a problem, watch out.

i assumed they would do it how everyone else did it. with the fuses and relays. i have decided i cant hurt the harness so i got alot of wiring info on this site and have completely disassembled the harness. i am currently weeding though the 2 pc connectors and extra emissions connectors that i dont need. if it doesnt work ill but from nelsons or speartech. they appear to both be nice harnesses, i like how the nelsons harness almost "hides". its very clean looking
