I made a very same pan!! It only holds 4.5 qts. of oil I decided to up grade the pan to six qts. with a remote filter and oil cooler, after I read this, https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...tarvation.html I might go bigger on the lines!!
Check into the hydroboost brakes, fairly cheap mod. will give you a lot more room for your coils ect!! Good luck with the build, I've had mine done a couple of times, keep changing my mind, and the WHILE I'M In HERE, bug keeps bitting me. It also put's a big dent in your budget!! LOL
i will see how well this pan in once i get it on the motor. if it doesnt hold enough oil or i dont like it for some other reason a will waste my money on the really nice turbo time one. i got to try this first though. i got $30 into it.

Eviltwin, you're a bad man. I just found a Typhoon on craigslist. The wife will not be happy with me buying another project vehicle just before Xmas.

You're costing me money I could be spending on this swap, 'cause now I HAVE to get her something spectacular.

AH! well. At least the truck is only costing me 6 grand, with a fresh GM replacement short block in it. Hey, anybody know what the motor and trans in one of these is worth?

Chuck

I will never under stand using a cheap *** 50 dollar fuel pump toss that thing out man and get a Bosch 044 pump.

The last thing you want is a cheap fuel pump costing you a motor.
