mustang suspension question
the rear end in it is a 7.5 so am looking at a sn95 ( 94-98) rear w/ disc brakes
whats the different between the 87-93 8.8 rear and 94-98 rear cobra or gt besides the drum brakes ????? i could do a disc brake swap on the 87-93 8.8??
and if i do this swap do i have to use the sn95 or fox body rear upper & lower control arms and shock ?????
will the aje ls1 k-member fit on the 4cyl ???
i also have the chance to get the sn95 front spindle and cailper, rotors. does it matter if it a gt or cobra. do i need to use the shock & lower control arm from the sn95 on the mustang and does the lower control arm fit in to the aje k member

Yes, the AJE LS1 k member will fit the 4 cyl. car. The frame mounting positions are the same on 4,6, & 8 cyl. Mustangs.
Check out www.Corral.net for the disc brake swap.
I have a friend that done the exact disc brake swap. I'll email him and find out what he had to use. Hope this helps.

North Race Cars makes a custom mounting bracker to use the SN-95 Disk brakes on the Stock Fow Length axles.

what size tires are you running on the front and back? 4cyl springs all the way around???
if you launch the car to hard will it hit the fenders in the rear ??????
dont think of using the PS rangers axles theyre weak as sh*t. GT brakes would be much easier to fit a 15" skinny drag style wheel up front.. just buy some decent axles.
if your gonna do a drag setup id recommend using c-clip eliminators
28 spline is factory

Or you can upgrade to 31 apline

You will have to run a master cylinder designed for disk brake applications
1993 Cobra is the easiest but you can modify others to work as well, as far as proportioning valves go..most people I have seen mount a small willwood adjustable valve on the rear line that runs across the top of the firewall. They just replace the connector with the valve.
on the rear i used my stock 4cyl control arms for now, they bolt right up. in the front im using 87-93 aje tubular control arms. but you can use 4cyl ones if you want. its just harder to get the camber settings in spec with 87-93 control arms over the sn95
