Default Lsx fuel line swap questions

What size feed and return lines are you guys using ?

Is anyone using an inline fuel pump kit ??

On the corvette fuel filter do i have to run a return line from the filter adapter or just leave it alone ???

Thanks
jorge

You can get by with 3/8" feed and 5/16" return if running a stock application.

Inline pumps are common in here

Yes, it will spray fuel if you don't

I am using a Walbro external pump with 3/8 to 6AN and 5/16 return line.My set up is very much like the on popular hotrodding used for their 67 Chevelle.

If at all possible mount the pump in the tank, this will put the pump as close to the fuel as possible, pumps push more efficiently than pull. Plus, the fuel around it will keep it cooler than if it was on a frame rail.

The in tank pick up should be baffled some way, or fuel starvation could occur. You can use your factory pickup but it is not baffled. This is risky because if you are drag racing and spraying out of the hole you can starve out and that's not good. Most will say go with a sump for positive fuel pick up if you cant get the pump in tank.

-06 (3/8") feed and return should do fine for your application. Just make sure you have enough pump to keep proper rail pressure when you juice it, especially if you are shooting a wet shot tapped off the fuel rail. Dual Walbro 255's or a Bosch 044 may be good for you.
