on the trucks with the hydro boost there is just a plug in the back. the fitting is a quick disconnect fitting. there is a thin ring around the edge of the fitting that you push in into the intake and the fitting will then pull out. it is installed by just pushing it back in. the motors that have the nipple for the brake booster is the same way but the fitting has a nipple. same disconnect. the fittings are interchangable. on my lq4 i just ran the booster line to the fitting where the pvc valve goes. I wont run the pvc into the intake anymore. if you need a picture of the fittings or the ring for the disconnect i will take some.

I tried all of those combination's and it did not work, the only thing that pulled it out was brute force, and it broke in the intake. So now I have a piece of that fitting still in there and a hole that can't be plugged in the intake. Do you have a part number for the fitting with the nipple?
