2006 GTO Pedals
2006 GTO Pedals Has anyone attempted to install the Clutch, Brake and Gas Pedals out of a 2006 GTO into a First Gen F-body car? 69 Camaro, to be exact.
I have a complete set of (3) that came with the Engine and Trans and would like to use them if possible. I don't want to spend major $$$ to do it or cut the Fire wall to pieces. Some modification is, OK.

just finished mine today on my 71 monte!!!!!!!!! only gas and brake setup. gas is easy, just transfer pad and spring over, brake was a little harder, had to cut and weld the plate onto my swing arm. looks nice will post a pic

I did it. I just took the pads off the gto pedals and adapted them to the firebird pedals. It was quite easy:
The GTO pads come off the pedals. Make a template of the GTO pedals and transfer that to the 1st generation pedals. Cut or grind the 1st generation pedals down to your template markings and slip the GTO pads on. It's that simple.
