Very nice. Have you taken it to the road course yet (besides the auto-x)?

Unfortunately, we have not yet had a good opportunity. I'm eager to try out the Barber Motorsports track just outside Birmingham, AL.

Thanks for compliments guys.

Hey strokedmti422 -

Good to hear from you again. We'll be looking forward to seeing you again soon at our shop. Sorry you didn't get to see the whole show Saturday night, but atleast you got a taste of it.

A TII car with those modifications should be able to run low 11s to high 10s on motor. Low tens to high 9s are easily done on the spray even with a daily driver setup.

The headers will be finished soon. We've been spending a couple hours a day with them lately, and we'll be accepting deposits on the first production batch in the coming weeks.

Cheers,

Thanks guys. The 6.71 second 1/8 mile pass would be near a 10.80 pass. It has since been much quicker, and it is fully capable of 9 sec passes with the 6 speed in daily driving setup (excluding tires).

The stock Mazda rear held through 1.4X 60' times and mid-10 second 1/4 mile passes. It finally let go after we passed 6.6X in the 1/8 or mid 10s in the 1/4.

We now run upgraded KAAZ LSD units and racing axles in the car.

What kind of exhaust is that? From the stills I saw a single muff with RX-7 style big-ol' tip. I may need to get a "Ricer" exhaust for the Z. That thing sounds awesome!!!!

Thanks for the compliment. The exhaust system is a true dual 2.5" with H pipe, two Bullet mufflers 1/2 way back, and a pair of Dynotech mufflers at the rear of the car.

We've been experimenting with mufflers to achieve different sounds, and I'm pretty happy with the current setup.
