Default Good numbers

Good numbers Ralph. I didn't think with all the people around that you were even getting on the dyno. Going to track it this weekend?

QA1 Drag CoilOver Set-Up --- They aren't even close, the car can be adjusted up higher in the front end but so far that is what is working good for us. 350 lb front springs.

Nice pictures. What converter do you have? And how is the TCI trans holding up? I've read that the vendors on here have a better reputation than TCI when it comes to 60e's, but that just may be all talk.

TCI 3200 Stall Converter, and the trans, i can't complain about it. We got it through Super Chevy and right now with wheels in air and everything not a problem.

any pics of the wheels in the air? im curious cause for some reason was thinking that 350lb springs in the front would not work right but you seem to have them working so i could be way off.

Here how i can tell you. The Spring weight is for how much the front nose of your car weighs.

My car was scaled and we did stick 250 lb springs and had to crank them almost compressed to get them to even be close to ride height. Now with the 350 springs we have 25% up on the shocks and the ride height is just right.

Great build, car really looks and sounds great. Ever thought of maybe putting a bigger better converter in there? Like a yank 4000ss? Think that would make a huge difference.
Anyways, grats on an awesome car.

Update: Well my tuner missed a Traction Control perimeter in the computer so we failed @ the track last night as the car wouldn't launch as the computer was pulling fuel under WOT.

So now that we got that fixed it will be few weeks before we can make it back to the track.

Default Updates 9-30-11

Well shortly after fixing the Traction Control issue we were testing on dyno and broke a valve and did some damage, so the car has just been sitting since May.

The Block, Crank, rods, and 6 pistons seem to be ok, we are going to install arp rod bolts just in case the bolts stretched.

Clean up a few minor things in the cylinder, the head is getting repaired, and just gotta get another LS6 Intake and Front Accessories (Alternator, bracket, ps pump and resevoir and tensioner)

Then fire it back up and make some power.

Updates!
Just got the damaged Head back from my Engine guy.

Hopefully we should be fittin up the piston and rods, get the heads bolted down, check clearances and then get ready to drop it back in the car.

Crossing my fingers.

This rally will be getting it ready to sell as a complete car, running.

Stay Tuned.
Should make alittle of 400+ to the wheels.

Are you going to take it to the track before you sell it?

Default Updates 3-23-2012

Well guys,
So my buddy helped me out greatly by going through the whole motor. He swapped out any piston rods he didn't like and installed ones from the 1st motor.
We got the motor done, dropped it in last night, finished wiring it up today and she started right up.
Just gotta check over some bolts, cycle the coolant, and check tranny fluid and she should be road ready.

I will update with pictures and videos.

Thanks
Ralph

Slow progress.
Engine we got running again but after couple test passes the transmission started slipping and out came the tranny.

As of Thursday 8/23 got the tranny freshened up and its driving again.

Just gotta straighten out the tune and we will be back to the track to get some video.
