so u are not running the L92 heads correct ? and still running as fast as people running them ? dam so does that mean the heads u are running are better suited to a 6.0 then the L92 heads, reason i ask is that the L92 heads are huge and really could use a 400ci or bigger motor, or am i missing something

Just wondering what rpm are you shifting at? I ran my car friday and seems my cam specs are close to yours and mine car seems like it was still pulling hard in the upper rmps. Never got it over 6200 and found out the throttle cable wasnt letting it get WOT and it was really hot. Car never ran below 210 degrees. So I think my car has alot more in but no 6.30's tho.

6 point chromoly cage..anything i dont need is removed from the car..but i do have the front door panels and the reason the carpet isnt in the car right now is because im scraping the underlayment off the floor pans slowly but surely.......l92's are a better head than what im running(as long as you got the cam to go with it),i just want to see how fast i can go with what i got(im thinking in good weather 9.80's is possible)because when i ran the car it was pretty warm and humid outside....i shift my car at around 6800 so by the time everything is said and done it actually shifts into the next gear at around 7000 but my cam pulls alittle further than that...i know for a fact it still makes power at 7300..but thats a rod bolt killer...lol

Thats what I got is the factory throttle cable. What throttle cable are you using and do you know the part number? one other question, do leave off foot brake or trans brake and how much are you stalling when you leave the line?

I was looking at your pics of your throttle cable. I already have the carb bracket and was looking on summits web site. I was wondering if the lokar cable comes with the bracket that mounts in the fire wall? The pic on summits web site dont show it. Is it the braided universal lokar cable for like 41 dollars?

Billy, are you using stock factory valves in the 799 heads you are running?

Thanks Billy, just trying to get all this stuff figured out before I start throwing money at it.
I found a new set of 799 heads with 650 hyd roller springs on them for $650, do you think that is a good deal?
I am going to try and copy your motor build for my camaro if you don't mind.
I am also going to see if they can mill the heads .030 before I get them. Did you have yours flat milled or angle milled??
