You and your brother have 2 of my favorite 3rd gens ever! What headlights are you running and what HID setup is on the heads and fogs?

havent updated this here are a many pictures
i had some paint work done to the camaro, back in may i also had the calipers painted candy yellow. A few months ago i purchased the 12 bolt moser with 3:73 gears, and adjustable torque arm.
Last Thursday I hit my personal best at the 1/8 mile local track 7.8 at 90mph.

i need fine tuning for the headers, warm up the tires better , and launch harder.
not bad for bolt on only ls1. first time around with the moser 12 bolt

A little bump here, for a sick build!

I'm looking at getting an Iroc down the road and doing an LSx swap into it, I'm curious though, I have basic mechanical background, how hard is this swap with just the basic engine and trans swap? I would probably want to go LS1/M6 or similar. Is there pretty much everything I would need for engine/trans mounts and wiring harnesses available for purchase? I would be looking to keep the interior 100% original and then have a clean LS build under the hood.

I just finished a ls1/4l60e swap on my 91 Z28. My interior and gauges are 100% stock and everything works. The swap isn't too hard, you always run into a few problems but if you do your homework its pretty straight forward. You can buy pretty much everything needed for the swap including the wiring harness and mounts. If you have any specific questions feel free to send me a pm. There is tons of info on thirdgen.org, you will be busy reading for days.

Thanks for your reply! It's definitely something I'm looking into doing down the line after I do what I would like to the WS6 I'm looking at, but still it's something I'd like to do.

I will definitely keep you in mind and look into thirdgen.org and see what I can find.

i wanted to update this thread.
i added ctsv v1 frc lpe launch controller.
ditched the camaro dash and installed a trans am dash







i was having a random missfire p0300 i ended up installing new seals and plugs. which got the job done.
hit up the local 1/8 track with my brothers skinnies and got another personal best before winter came. fought some traction . couldv improved my 60 foots.

a buddy gave me a great deal for a used fast 92mm i ended up prepping it for paint and spryaed it in the backyard with my gun .

hopefully install it soon with some go fast parts

Blue devil was called out for some mexico racing by our local dyno king.

H/C 388 Stroker Miniram Iroc makes "440" rwhp(T5 w/3.42 gears)


Full exhaust, CAI, tune LS1 Iroc makes about 370 rwhp(T56 w/3.73 gears)

*White LS1 Iroc("cam-only" + bolt-ons) makes 410rwhp

havent updated this in a very long time
car is a complete new animal. btr cam stg 3, 243 heads milled down, trunion kit, fast 92/92 combo, pst 3.5 driveshaft, i sold my 1 5/8 racing innovation headers and installed a set of 1 3/4 ones, replaced my monster stage 3 clutch kit with a new one, going to install a 320 lph pump and hot wire kit

custom sfc and lca relocation brackets soon to improve my 60 foot times.
first week out after my tuner cms edited the pcm i went 7.5 at 96 mph at the 1/8 with a 1.76 60 foot time. goals are to go down into low 7s.
