ls1 viper

I really don't think that would be cool.....
I'm a big fan of Ls1 cars and everything but....no
I think it would be a waste of money to swap an LSX into a viper.
That is one car I wouldnt do an LS swap.

LSx or any SBC for that matter aren't good sounding motors really, but a Viper sounds like ****. Sounds like a dump truck. That said, no lol. To much work for a 'sidegrade.'

i could be wrong but wasnt there a guy who ran the silver state challenge in a modded up viper with a sbc. i remember reading it somewhere and in the article the fiberglass hood (front section) blew off at some rediculous speed.

I dunno if this one makes sense, even with the heavy engines vipers handle very well. Plus one can make alot of power out of the ones that have stock forged internals. However I do agree they sound like *** most of the time especially without and X or H pipe. I have heard some decent ones tho.

I think this would be great for a road race oriented car.
I would imagine you could stick an LS series motor pretty far back helping out with the weight balance a bit. The is assuming the vipers are at all unbalanced, I dont know much about the chassis.
