Default Anyone know A/C Shop that works with those crimped hose ends ?

After the Ls1 swap in my 97, I have yet to hook up the ac. Anyone know a shop that can take my 97 hose ends off and crimp them onto the ls1 hoses ?

Try NAPA most stores can handle custom hoses. Buy the hose and cut it to length then take it down to have it crimped.

Note: make sure you "clock" the hoses and ends the way you want them orientated before you take them to a shop.

I did some for a guy not long ago and he didn't clock them at all which meant he had to pick them up, mock everything up again, mark (a grease pencil is ok) all the fittings and hoses and then return them to me. It's rare that you have a fitting that doesn't need to be "aimed" a certain way to install.

Most hydraulics shops can probably do it too as long as you bring them the hose.

Yes, look for a hydraulic hose shop. They can do the work by carefully cutting off your crimped on collars, saving the fitting itself. They supply new collars & crimp them back on new hose lengths that you tell them. Yes, marking where the fittings need to be indexed is critical. Good luck.

These folks do all my hose work here in Socal in case you needed an idea of what kind of shop to look for. Hopefully you have a similar outfit over there.

They have all the special fittings one would need in house.

I have had some custom stuff done here. They did some braided nitrous line, some brake lines, and also a hydraulic hose for a fork lift for me. I am pretty sure they do ac lines. I know they are far from you but might be an option.
