I don't think you'd want my help, but I know someone who is really good at wiring. I'll see about getting his # to you.

rock on that looks so incredibly fun, I cannot wait to see you rip this thing on the street and take some pics out in its natural habitat like a scary animal escaped from the zoo.

awesome work!

Insane build, looks like a complete in house build by a master fabricator

I'm not sure, I think it was either 14 or 16 gauge.. What ever it was it was as thick as the thickest metal in that area (frame rails) Its pretty sturdy and was a bitch to bend into shape..

lol Thanks man. It was only about a year and a half ago when I learned how to weld, and the " in house" is a 1.5 car **** hole garage with a fucked up floor...lol I'm really putting all my effort into the car now. Last night my friend and I went at the wiring. Made a lot of progress. Also made a baller kick pannel/pcm box on the passenger floor. Big weekend coming up got 3.5 full days to put in on it. More to come.

That is some very nice work. I'll be stealing ideas from this for my engine-less 5.0 hatch.

I tried to find what paint you used on the wheelwells and suspension components. (Some of it looks like Krylon Hammertone but I'm not sure.) Was it regular Lowes/Home Depot stuff? Thanks.

I used SEM undercoating. It took about 5 cans of it to do the whole underside of the car. ***** not cheap tho- bout 16+/- a can. All the suspension stuff was blasted, primered, sprayed black, then cleared. Some stuff is orange, some gun metal, some engine bay color but all got the same treatment.

Gotcha, thanks man.

While I'm bothering you, what welder are you using? I'm making my Christmas wish list soon. Yeah, we start early at my house

mostly I used a lincon 140 from home depo with gas. I also used a big ole snap on welder I have no idea what model. I don't own one, just borrowed them a lot...lol If I do get one I'd get the 140 from home depo, it works great and its cheap. It all depends what your going to do with it.

So I've been bustin *** this weekend, I got my interior almost done. THe whole thing is going to be wrapped in black suede with red stitching...

Just wondering, what are you going to do with the pass side dash? glove box/hidey hole/ leave a big open unaccessible space behind it? you obviously don't need to save a space for an airbag, so just curious.
