Everything is installed and the car moved out from under the back porch. Busted the oil pan when letting it down... No I was not using the pan as a lift point.. Wheel on the jack killed it. But all is well and pan has been replaced. Should have dyno numbers thursday

ive weighed my 84 trans am with an 88 gta conversion (wheels, gfx, fenders, bumpers, hood etc) 4th gen fiberglass hood, a/c delete, smog delete, long tubes, cat delete, 9", ls1, t56, power windows, power door locks, al driveshaft, 4th gen gas tank, 4th gen radiator and fans) its weighed from 3100-3220 without me in it. I still want to put a fiber glass hood on it, and throw some 4th gen seats in it, i bet it will be in the mid 31xx with those mods.

i dont think thats all that heavy. before i put my car on a serious diet, it was 3260. no a/c or heat, manual steering. everything else was still there.
down to 2995 now, no driver.

Installed the trak pak yesterday and I couldnt be happier. Its a really nice peice and I can slide a coke can under the "hump" in the crossmember and it doesnt come close to touching. Went on with minor mods and some good country boy welding. Thanks to the guys at bmr

nasty...looks good man, i'm gettin' anxious to get mine finished now!
thinking about making a crossmember with the spohn "thruster" mount like you had on your dual hump x-member. was that a hawks x-member? trying to get away from having to spend the money on the front mount for my torque arm to the tranny, and keeping the torque arm from ripping my tail shaft off if i ever get traction....

Dude.. I love the trak pak compared to the trans crossmember mounted one like I had, but yes it was the hawks crossmember and I just cut the mount and bracket off and still using the crossmember.
