LSX 1986 camaro 5.3 to 6.0 swap this is my 1986 camaro. owned it since i was 14. went from a 2.8 to a carb 305 to a now, turbo 5.3/4l60E swap. the motor is stock except for a 02 ls6 camshaft, weiand intake, p&p throttle body, and a vig 3600 converter. the turbo is a precision t67 with a tial wastegate and bov. also did the f-body conversion which was a B*tch!!! lol and the 4th gen dash swap. im hoping for around 400 hp with the 8lb spring but who knows???

you shouldn't have to hope too hard... lol... Car Craft did a heads and cam swap on a junkyard 5.3 and got 460hp and 397 ft lbs of torque. If you are boosting one you should be well over 400hp! Heck when you put headers and an air cleaner kit on them they make over 300 already!

If you call comp and reference the article they can tell you which grind that they ended up stocking based on that cam.

thats parish he's on this website.. search turbo fairmount,, 600+ hp on 16 psi ,stock bottom end, with just a ls6 cam you should have 400 hp at the crank.. im running the same setup. t70,,

i did the 4th gen swap interior into my third gen. camaro and the 97 trans am shifter cable is too short is the 98-02 cable longer??? will it work>> or what do i need? i also did the ls1/4l60E swap into the car..

got some more done today. rearend came in. going with the 8.8, lca's and panhard bar came in a few days ago.
