it was from a guy named cam. he built it for me. i dont know if he wants me giving out his prices so just get up with him. and you coulld use a ford 8.8 chunk and gears like i did and buy axles from moser. rearend costed me 250 got 100 back for the housing and axles and brakes and like 430? for the moser axles and bearings. was a DIRECT BOLT IN!!!!!!!!!!!

well my plans ahve changed.. i decided to go n/a. so here's an update. shaved the 243's .030, got a 224/228 cam, stainless works longtube headers and y-pipe from stage20, and booted the money for a fast 90/90. plan on getting a plate kit for it soon. but here it is as it sits. sorry for the crappy phone pic

I'm building an 86 iroc decal'd z28 with a 408 6.0 with the 4l80 I can relate to all your fun but I have just about got mine road worthy waitin on a tune and some exhaust are ya runnin long tubes?

only fitment issue is the longtubes. they fit great with a t5 or t56. an auto is another story. i had to put my 02's in my y-pipe. stock driveshaft works the f-body pan needs to be used i used the f-body accessories but i have seen people use the truck (with modification) and vette accessories . lots of room in the engine bay. hell it fits better than the 305 that was in it before.

Do they make shortys for the ls swaps? I'm using the s-10 swap headers and plumbed in dual 2-1/2 and would rather go bigger but haven't heard of any for the 4l80 swap
