the more 3rd gen LSx'ers the better. A lot of guys run the spohn mounts, I'm gonna try the relocation plates myself. A lot of it seems to come down to whether you want to run A/C or not.

yeah. the center console is a direct bolt in. i had to drill 2 small holes in the upper part where the dash bolts up top and 2 screws went in fine. it also bolts up to the steering column just fine. the lower braces were cut off.. i see no reason to have them. the heating and cooling was cut so it will be on defrost ar all times ( i plan on fixing that over the summer) the cluster and dash/headlight switch was the b*tch though. i could post up a diagram i followed from thridgen.org. the volt, speedometer, and tach were a pigtail off my wiring harness. and my oil pressure is one wire from the sensor. the 97 dash i have has the looks of the new dash with the 0-90ohm level sensor that is stock in the 3rd gen tank. so id go for atleast a 97 cluster. and water temp. is a 3 wire from an ebayer in flordia that has a pigtail for a guage. hope this helps

this is a great guy to work with. paid 400 for the whole dash, cluster, wiring, door panels, console, and he said anything else i could carry. lol as for the wiring the oil pressure, volt, water, and fuel should not be a big issue. in sure you could pin into the connector in the pcm and get the speed and tach signal

^^Back from when we were talking about mine..if I were to do a 3rd Gen I would use everything from my 1995 Car..Fuel Tank, Interior Wiring, Engine Compartment..everything. I have a feeling that would work pretty well.
