You don't need the rear o2 sensors, just the front two.

...and don't get silly on us and buy some cats either. Deleting the rear O2's eliminates the need for cats. Since you are eliminating the cats this leaves more room for mufflers or cut outs.

Isn't that Automotion show in May? If you're not going to miss that, then you'll definitley make the Power Tour in June!

I got the exhaust system finished today........except for final welding and installing the hangers...(Tomorrow).....2 1/2" all the way back....

And......."Thanks" to John at Speartech for the detailed instructions and great job on the harness......got it out of the box and after a few minutes everything was plugged in.......

The next big problem is where to fit all this "Stuff"

I also ordered GM O2 sensors and I'm going to pick up the body tomorrow.............All the pieces are coming together.....

Ken, it's looking good but I noticed something in your 'finished' exhaust system pic. Where are the flanges in the system to allow easy removal if the pipes need to come out for whatever reason? Just a thought.

These two head pipes connect into the pipes that go into the Mufflers with expanded connections that will have clamps in the final assy......It appears that everything is one pipe as the clamps are not installed yet.....

O.K..................Need some help from the experts here....Two Questions......#1......Although it's not in this picture, I have the fuel system finished to the fuel rail........Now......I want to put some fuel in the Tank and run the fuel pump to check for leaks before putting the body on.........without going thru the computer or relays, can I just jump the plug and power up the pump without ruining anything??......................#2........In the pic there are some vacuum lines that come out of the lower rear of the intake manifold.........I need a vacuum source for the brake booster, can I use the larger one for that source or will I need that for some other engine function later......and I assume I can plug off the small one??

Again...............Thanks in advance
Ken

You can run power directly to the pump without hurting anything. When you first prime the fuel lines, you may want to press the schrader valve on the fuel rail to let some air out, since you won't be starting it, the fuel injectors won't be opening to do it for you, and the air has to go somewhere.

Ken,
Great job! I also had the same problem with my flaring tool, so I bought one from Fedhill. This thing works GREAT! I needed to do a little front brake line detail work on the Nova, and this really helped.
