Spent the day today getting the front sheetmetal aligned....and Dave was over getting the wiring ready for the Dash installation and he also got the Driver Information Control button (DIC) that came out of a GTO to work and the Dash Module now functions just like the factory designed......Pretty cool....I also decided to keep the Fog Lights as turn signals, I'm just going to make new mounts for them so the bottom of the light will be the same height as the top of the bumper......called the place I got the bumpers from and they are sending out a rear bumper next day air .......Man....that went too easy............

Dash and Trim should be ready tomorrow.........

Got the dash and window molding back from the painter....I didn't want to go with a shiny dash, so we went with a satin finish......now that it's done, I don't know if I like it....oh well.....there will be a decorative emblem in the blank area below the center A/C vent to fill in that area.....here is the GTO gauge module and dash install...

Why not weld the support tube to the base from the back?

The weld is well done, but nothing may just have looked better.

Also got the Liscense plate assy mounted......made it out of stainless tubing and the light wire runs inside the assy......mounts to the frame and it is spaced away from the body just enough for cleaning.........

I have 3 projects going but the 37 I sent out for the sheet metal ,to much going building my 31 Model A tudor . also have a 67 Mustang

If you guys don't mind I will post a couple pics feel free to delete if unwanted Mods .
