Default DBW Gas Pedal mount 240sx

how did you guys with dbw setups / 240sx mount your gas pedals?

Im thinking of making a plate to mount to the original bracket but I was wondering if anyone has any pics of their setup

Yeah, I tried asking this same question a while back and got no response.

What pedal are you using?

Im using an 05 GTO pedal. Did you have any problems with the wiring? It took me a while to get the right pinout for the pedal itself.

I'm having issues right now. My car starts and idles but I don't have any throttle response at all. I'm running a 2004 truck pedal, tac module and throttle body. I'm thinking about just removing it all and going DBC.

Truck pedal is different from the GTO or Vette pedal, I will have to Hack it and reweld it if I keep it.

Are you running your car without the alternator? If the pcm doesn't see a charge, the pedal won't respond.

Just wired in my altenator the other day and still nothing.(assuming I wired it correctly) My engine is a L33 out of a 05 Silverado so I had to convert it from the 3 wire truck setup to the 1 wire for my 02 Z28 Altenator. Removed the all wires but pin B (brown wire) hooked it up and nothing, still no response. Don't know how to tell if the system is charging or not.

That's kinda of what I was thinking. Sale all the DBW setup and pick up the cable tb and call it a day. Keeps me from having to cut up my hood support also, since the truck throttle control sits up higher.

Well. I took a peak at ruthlessdet's mount and decided just to make my own.

I like the way it feels. I put it as close to factory as i could.

WOT is about 3mm from the spacer i put in so it can be mashed and not suffer too much...

You should have two wire going to the alternator not one! The truck engine has two pins at the pcm.

Everyone keeps telling me I should only have 1 wire going to the PCM because the altenator is a 2002 Z28. I really don't know what to think. The PCM and harness are from a 2004 Truck. It originally had 3 wires on the plug.

240sx Blue Pearl, great job on the pedal.
