+1
jr has been proven to be better option over the gmpp, with a carb. and jr comes with ls1 captive gasket oring design

and these are cathedral port, even though they look like square. originally designed for carb. only.
thats why there missing the roof notch area for injector

well, even so, 95 bucks can't be beat. You can do a lil massaging in the port to smooth things out to make it flow a bit smoother. Just don't **** up the shape of the port

I don't see why it would hold up any differently than any other intake... As long as you have good gaskets and bolts, i don't see any problem at all.

I scooped one for a turbo 5.3, I'll see if I'm going to use it when it gets here. Going to have it drilled for injectors and go efi and a plate setup too

i bought one of the ones drilled for inj. if i ever switch over-came with bolts and instructions (has gasket #s)
my Edelbrock uses the mega dollar GM o ring gaskets (i tried the orange ones that were 1/2 the costs, but "melt" and dont hold up-the Edelbrock has cracked a couple times around the o rings, i had to weld it up
i ordered a couple of the $95 ones, the GM intake is a little lower and uses the i piece gasket, so i might switch over to the GM intake
for those that need a gasket, they list FelPro #1312-2 as a .045 thick,
FelPro #1312-3 as a .060 thick, and SCE gasket #211134 as .060 thick
