I picked one up, thanks for the tip on this. I have the dual plane Edelbrock on there...but for $100 I'll do some comparison testing

for the gasket i just used the efi truck one.. grinded it smooth, it worked perfectly.. and used the bolts from the efi intake too.. just pulled the spacers off.. saved money..

my Edelbrock uses the mega dollar GM o ring gaskets (i tried the orange ones that were 1/2 the costs, but "melt" and dont hold up-the Edelbrock has cracked a couple times around the o rings, i had to weld it up
i ordered a couple of the $95 ones, the GM intake is a little lower and uses the i piece gasket, so i might switch over to the GM intake
for those that need a gasket, they list FelPro #1312-2 as a .045 thick,
FelPro #1312-3 as a .060 thick, and SCE gasket #211134 as .060 thick
Just so you no theirs more to it then it just being drilled for fuel injectors. The inside of intake its different. The inside of the EFI one is open and smooth! The Carb one due to the fuel coming from up top isn't!

I know these pics are not them same brand but you get the idea
