jr has been proven to be better option over the gmpp, with a carb. and jr comes with ls1 captive gasket oring design
and these are cathedral port, even though they look like square. originally designed for carb. only.
thats why there missing the roof notch area for injector

i bought one of the ones drilled for inj. if i ever switch over-came with bolts and instructions (has gasket #s)
my Edelbrock uses the mega dollar GM o ring gaskets (i tried the orange ones that were 1/2 the costs, but "melt" and dont hold up-the Edelbrock has cracked a couple times around the o rings, i had to weld it up
i ordered a couple of the $95 ones, the GM intake is a little lower and uses the i piece gasket, so i might switch over to the GM intake
for those that need a gasket, they list FelPro #1312-2 as a .045 thick,
FelPro #1312-3 as a .060 thick, and SCE gasket #211134 as .060 thick
