Default Casting Failure on Non EFI Victor Jr

See the link below for info and pics. Everyone be sure when you pull your intake off to check it over with a fine tooth comb.

The intake split where the gasket goes in, on the plenum side. Apparently there was a problem with one of the CNC machines and it machined the groove for the gaskets either too deep or too close to the edge.

who did you talk to at Edelbrock-i sent them pics, and they never resp. to me, so i welded mine up-it broke on cyls 1 and 3, at the bottom by the valley
cover-its been ok since, just pulled it to do the stroker swap, ck'ed it over,
no more cracks
are you using the Fel Pro orange gaskets, i tried them, were 1/2 the price of GM ones (discounted) but they didnt last, kind of melted and came apart, so i went back the the GM ones, their gray, no more problems
