Turbo foxbody guys come in!
I am doing 5.3L single turbo 78mm turbo build on a Fox body mustang.
I was looking and Im not really for sure where to mount the turbo, because theres not a lot of room. Does anyone have any pictures of how they did theirs. thanks for any help.

haha me too, I have a 93lx im comparing off of, but its too nice to put the motor in.. I have the motor and turbo setup sitting on a stand, just wating for the pipes to be bent and mounted... Im on the search for some nice Drag setup mustang rollers right now. I just hate buying one if im gonna have too much problems fitting my setup.

dude make it easy, and buy a turbo 5.0 setup for a foxbody, and cut off the primaries, and weld on LSX flanges.. and everything will jive right together..
5.0 primaries line right up with lsx primaries.

351 headers are the common units to be hacked up and fitted with the LSX flanges, not the 5.0l's.
Spare Parts car is gonna be real sick when it's done, I been watching that car come together on a local forum, and it's real nice.
As for building off of a SBF SPECIFIC turbo set-up, I'd venture to say it'd be a helluva lot more work than you're anticipating. Bends are not very much, the flipped mani's work well, fitment will be SPOT ON for the LSX, and you'll have probly HALF involved cost-wise doing it from scratch. That would allow for a nicer turbo, or other parts IMHO. Use the search function A LOT, and do your homework PRIOR to buying anything, and you'll reap the rewards as yours comes together. Just my .02. Good luck.
