I was wondering if it was goin in with the trans conncted. The trans was touching the firewall and the oil pan was touching the radiator support about the whole way. as soon as I would run out of room on the trans end the oil pan would step up and allow me to lower it enough to push it back. Like a glove man.

Doing the six speed. So to mount the master cyl I wanted to use the stock master and have every thing bolt in so if needed it can easly be modfied in case I go aftermarket and need to make some changes. I wanted this thing to be so sturdy I would never have to worry about flex ect

The braket bolts to the pedal assembly and the right side is supported by a bolt and spacer going though stock grommet. I threaded the eyelet side to join to the master with a nut so the length can be adjusted. I made sure the angle of the rod went back perfectly staight for a long lived master. The beauty of making the mounting points bolt in is that you can shim them a bit with washers to get it just right. Also I used the turbo coupe pedals. It has a built in stopper. I had to readjust the rod length so the pedal stop would not let the master bottom out. Now the clutch pedal is just a hair lower than the brake, but you can be aggresive as you want with the pedal with no worry.

Ran into a few problems. One of them was the six speed was leaking at the case. Looks like the junk yark swapped them out and did not use any sealant. Pulled it apart and added some "right stuff" T-56 insides are kinda neet.

Enjoyed making the trans member it was made out of hardware store bulk metal. Really happy with the results. I tucked it up real hight to make room for the three inch x pipe. Kept it as light weight as possible with out going aluminium. Wish I had a good pic of it.

When pricing out a swap do not forget to add a bump steer kit. The tie rod angle was horrible with out. I did coil overs and caster and camber plates. Had new shocks so I did not use the recomended shocks for the coil overs. If you look close you can see a tab I welded on to make them work anyway, just keeps the spring from rotating.

If you can't tell I like using stock parts. Went with camaro gauges. Had to do a bit of trimming to get em to fit. Took all the idiot light bulbs out like air bag, abs ect. becuse the will stay on. I hooked the engine light up to function. When I got it wired up and going the speedometer read about 130 actually going about 40(guess gto and camero gauges are calibrated differently and the gas gauge did not work because The ford sender ohms out so different. This was fun problem as I just bought a hp tuner and was eager to play with it. Using my tom tom I got the speedometer within 1 mph above or below and got the fuel gage working perfectly too.
