2 pin oil pressure switch
OK I got no help in the PCM section so I'm posting here. I have an OBD1 cluster and a 2 pin oil pressure switch for what I believe to be 1998 F-body. Which wire is which? I presume I'll have one that is unused. I just need the gauge to operate. Apparently I should have bought the single wire version but I've got this one.

Yeah I'm not completely retarded, haha. OK I see the single pin has it above the key in the plug so I'll try that one. That was a stock photo I had grabbed off Autozone's website. Do I see an upside down "G" there on my bottom pin? I'd like to know what that pin does on the 98 cars. I'm not sure how close this car is to running but I should be able to get the electrical system nearly done this weekend. However I won't be satisfied til the car runs and I can see what the gauges are telling me.

On the 98 cars, the second pin is the ground wire for the sensor. For 99 and up they just grounded the sensor internally to the case and got rid of the ground wire.

Yeah they are expensive and I couldn't take it back so that's why I am wanting to make it work. But it seems that very well may have been a "G" I see on the switch. So I will ground that one and run the other one to the gauge. Hopefully it works.
