Something a little smaller than usual

Well honestly traction is a worry.
It's been built so the stock C5 wheels fit under there nicely, but I need a tire. It's been built for the street so slicks aren't appropriate, and I drive in the rain.
Any suggestions?

Those are great in dry weather but terrible in the rain. BF goodrich comp TA ZR's or michelin pilot Z rated tires both work well wet or dry. I have run them both on vettes with good results. Also a 275 on such a small car is going to equate to alot of traction even with the increased HP. Spring rates, air pressure setting and suspension setup will help to optimize traction as well. I think you will be fine. I would be more worried about the short wheel base and how twichy it will be at speed than your straight line traction. just my thoughts.

The aerodynamics on the car suck. It gets light at about 120 and really light at 130. I've not had the ***** to go any faster than that in my other one.
The fix is a huge chin spoiler - which would ruin it - so I'm not worried about all out top end. Besides it'll get to 130 pdq.
Now what I really need to investigate is a different ratio in the back end so's I can get to 60 in first. But first it's got to be finished...

Alan,
I will need to watch all 3 threads to get up with your build! Can't wait to see this in the flesh someday. Have you picked any seats yet, and what do you think will fit? Having the frame running close to your seat area, I was wondering, because mine will be tight there in that area.
