adding to the collection, Typhoon 5.3/4L80E turbo build
On 12/31/09 my friend and i purchased an unfinished project. I am super excited to have all the interior space unlike my syclone. Here is the run down of the build...
DRIVETRAIN
2006 5.3
Patriot stage 2 LQ9 heads
LS6 cam
arp head studs
60lb injectors
LS6 intake
mildly built 4L80E
PI 3000 convertor
4wd t-case
narrowed silverado 8.5 rear with posi
stock front axle
BRAKES/SUSPENSION/WHEELS/TIRES
C6 Z06 6 piston front
C6 Z06 4 piston rear
QA1 coilovers front and rear
C6 Z06 replica wheels
front 18x9.5 255/30r18
back 18x11 295/30r18
Turbo setup
tial 44mm wastegate
tial BOV
TC78 (from my syclone)
The whole goal of the project is to run 11's without any weight reduction on street tires. Im sure there are things I am forgetting. THere are some pics..

That is almost a 1" difference in diameter between the front and rear tires. Would this not cause a problem, or is the transfer case able to accommodate the slight speed difference between the front and rear drive shafts?
I haven't paid much attention to the 4x4 part of our hobby, so I'm more curious than critical.

SO somebody spent $500.00 and then had to work on it? How much modifying was done to it? Or was it done by the previous owner and you don't know? Your going turbo with it? I was going to see if you went natural induction if/ when you do manifolds to make another set and sell them to me.
