Nice setup. Nice Car ... You must over just over 20k in this built.

I am sure once you work out the tuning and get the boost up you will run in the 9's.

The plus is your 60ft looks much better.

Always a battle for turbo cars is building boost on the line.

 

around 30k os so. every thing is new and i started with nothing but a empty ford shell.
3.27s are going in today.
if i dont go 9s the car will be traded to the one who comes and gives me a sti or evo or c5z

How do you like the 3:27 gears? notice any differance at all?

 

well i went from 3.73's to 3.27's my friend thats been the car a bunch ssys he dosent notice a differance in if its faster or slower, i dont either. i only went with 3.27s because ill need them with more boost.

well everyone the meth kit is for sale!
i never should have bought it, but i was under the impression i could make the power i wanted off pump gas and meth injection. well i cant, so ill just run low boost on pump gas and then race gas with high boost. i have near 1k in all the meth and things involved with it, metal for brackets, powder coating bracket, redoing the charge pipe. i know some of it i cant get back. all i want is 700 shipped!

 

I make enough power/boost on straight pump gas/meth to go 9.1 in a 3325lb car .... how much power/boost are you trying to make? I run up to about 17psi on pump/meth and above that go to c16

 

only 93 oct pump gas will let me do what 13-14lbs
93 oct and meth i can get 17lbs
race gas i get 20-22 lbs

whats the point of having meth if i need race gas to go mid 8s. i bought meth because i thought i woulldent need to use race gas.

 

Meth is good for more then just the octane though.... Race gas will give you the octane but will do nothing for cooling the charge. I run c16 and straight meth and it loves it!!!

Been 160mph at 3325lbs and that takes a bit of power with a 4 bolt ls on a factory casting head.

 

yeah but is the cooling of the meth really needed with the c16

 

depends what you are wanting to do but IMO yes... especially with a less then stellar intercooler.

 

well c16 is over $10 a gallon. i can get 100 unleaded at the pump, so looks like ill be sticking with meth with 100 and hope it can do what i want

any one want to buy a roller? i want a fbody again!

i like the look of it better. and i have a picture of my old 98 in my room and i miss it, i would like to find a clean 93 lt1 camaro. but the planets all need to be alinged for stuff to happen

 

I have a nice 94 lt1 for sale Granted I wish I could afford an evo, but a nice AWD DSM will do for now lol. Amazing build btw, sounds very sinister with a v-8 and big turbo.
