street and performance crossmember, if I were to do it again i would get the bowtie overdrives one... The ebay arms seem like solid pieces, I read all the threads on camaros.net and it seems most of the concerns/issues were with the early run of them. I will be keeping an eye on them though. Th brackets were $60+shipping and i got them through the guy listed on David Pozzi's site

it would be a waste, the bigger ls1 rotors are a huge part of the package. get a set of drum hubs turned down and get some ls1 rotors.. and the position of the oem rotor will be off to all the availble brackets..

yep, you will need to put some custom spacers (washers) to use the adaptors, (i did) but other than that it should work.

I bought drilled and slotted off ebay... yes, you need to turn the drum hubs to fit inside the ls1 rotor. you will also need 1/4" longer wheel studs. Go to autozone and ask for 79 corvette wheel studs.. they work great. the brackets are the same for either spindle, you will need to grind your drum spindle, or space out your disk spindle, both are easy ...

Nice build. I read the whole thread. I have two questions. Does your car still make decently tight u-turns with the 3rd generation F-body steering box? I'd read the internal stops are too tight for an A-body which make the turning radius suck. Some guys were using Jeep Grand Cherokee boxes because the stops were looser.

Is the internal tank pump really necessary? I know some Fox body Mustang guys are using a single external Walbro 255 external pump with a stock carburator style pickup. Some will just run a piece of rubber hose to the bottom of the tank from where the fuel pump was connected. On fast cars they add additional 255 pumps in parallel, and I've read up to three on a 8 second car. I've read of one external 255 in the 10's and is almost silent and is inexpensive, but did have a larger than stock pickup tube installed. These cars all have return style regulators. What do you run?

U-turns are fine, although my car is rear steer, and the a bodies are front steer..
Do I have to go intank.. i guess its not a must, but I wanted some baffeling around the pickup (dont want to lose fuel pressure at the strip) and its quieter/more refined.. I looked at doing an external pump, after weighing the pro's/cons I decided the in tank was the best fit for my car. I ran the intake spectra pump and a corvette return style regulator when I was NA.. now I run an aremotive 1:1 boost refrenced regulator with -6 lines and a walbro 255lph pump in the spectre tank. I may be going twin pumps shortly, as I am turning up the boost. Or i may add a boost-a-pump to the walbro.

they are all installed, Had an unexpected delay missing the metric bolts to mount the caliper brackets to the adaptor. I finished it all up yesterday, just have to bleed them and the car should stop again. Have to dial in with the adjust perp valve once the roads dry out.

Built 4l65 is ordered (not sure if i can mention who's I went with, he is on the forum very activly and have a great rep, but not a sponsor) so that and the SFI flywheel should arrive this week, then I get it aligned, put it on the rolls for a tune with the new pullys...and I should be ready for powertour. with a dependable ~500 RWHP...
