The 2.3 and 5.0 K-members are the same, depending on your year. The early fox bodies (79-86 I believe) had slightly narrower K-members. The 2.3/5.0 K-members are different from the 4.6 though..

cause of the text in bold. and only 96-04 came with 4.6 k's

you can buy the aje k but make sure, like you mentioned, to buy the lsx mounts or the 4.6's can be modified....

sorry for the confusion

I got the auto one too. It seems to bottom out too. If it had a little flex to it would be fine. Let me know how it works or if you find a solution

1) trans wont shift into 4th ( OD ) trans is brand new paid 2000.00 to get built

2) trans leaks

3) motor runs at 200 deg

4) oil pressure is 40-45 psi driving and 25-30 at idle

5) motor is ticking or a headers leak havent looked to far into it yet

6) driveshaft has a bad vibration on the highway ( just had it made)

7) throttle cable isnt allowing WOT

My oil pressure on my stang is around 40 once warm in gear, I would say your normal. My 98 Z28 hold around 25-30 once warm. Dont know what to say about tranny tho. My car ran a little warm too but I had my fans pushing instead of pulling and I havent really been out driving any. Im still running open headers till I can take it to the exhaust shop. Kinda scared cause Im sure theres gonna be noises I dont want to hear. Hang in there it will be worth it when you get it all lined out.

guess 200* is what i have been reading that theses motors run at , i see maybe in a efi car .. but i would like it to be around the 160-180* mark with my carb'ed set up

and as for oil pressure 25-30psi warm at idle is normal? and driving is around 40 psi ?.... seems very low
