Front plate engine mount?

Default Front plate engine mount?

Does anyone make a front plate engine mount? I've seen them for virtually every other engine but wonder if there's a good way to bolt up an engine mount plate around the big timing cover.

S&W race cars makes them. thats where I got mine.

S&W makes one, also madman on the this forum does as well. I have the S&W plate if I had to do it over again I would get the Moroso one. That one imo is the best one. it bolts to more points on the engine. The S&W plate only uses the three water pump bolts. you can drill one other hole on the drivers side. If you make an L bracket than you can pick up one more bolt on the passenger side.

Thanks, this is for a Porsche 911 and I thought a front plate would be better than the cradle.

Imo they are a lot easier to design around, and they give you lots of exhaust options If you decide you want S&W plates I will likely be selling mine.

I looked on S&W and Moroso's website and didn't find a LS plate. Anyone got a link to see what they look like.
I was a little concerned that the water pump bolt holes was all that would be supporting it.

We have the plates in stock. We use the water pump holes plus the 2 holes where the alternator bolts. Also its drilled for the extra hole on the passenger side on LSX blocks.

Looks like you carry almost everything I'll need:
Motor plates, alternator brackets, meziere remote water pump...
Any chance I could special order one without the inlet outlet holes for the water pump? In a porsche installation these need to be tapped for a remote electric pump.

I carry the Meziere adaptor plates that already have #12 fittings in them.

Used a MadMan plate in my car. Extremely nice piece! Give him a shout and he'll get you fixed up!

Yep saw those too. Problem is that there's only 3" clearance between the block and crossmember so I wasn't sure if there was an AN fitting that would fit. I know I can find a right angle NPT fitting that will fit.

Another option is I can weld the fittings to the plate. That would give you another 3/8"
