You'll need to add IAC and TPS for a cable setup. Not sure what needs to be programmed for that to work.

You may need to switch PCM`s. Not many of the green/blue connector PCM`s have IAC drivers. Check in the PCM section IIRC there is a thread in there listing the service #`s for the ones that do have IAC drivers

If its an LS2 GTO you have an E40 ECM and you are SOL on changing to a cable throttle with this.

So, I change out the ecm and wire harness. Or can I modify the harness. Or, Do I just try to mount the pedal in the Mustang? Has anyone done this?

Why not use the pedal? As long as it's not made by Toyota, it should work fine.

just fyi , when bolting the pedal to the firewall, b4 you installed, cut the "new" pedal since it has a weird long shape, cut it very short almost at the sensor , then cut the "old" pedal and weld the old to the new part , and when you make the install it will look just original... thats what I did but mine was a pedal from a truck so it might me different

My 2006 LS2 GTO pullout has a E40 pcm......... The E40 is a 24x.... problem is yes in theory, he should be able to convert... but it would cost you too much money to convert, cost meaning $$, time, and headaches just to try to convert........ Your talking about swapping the entire throttle system and possibly having to swap to a LS1/LS6 ecm..... How much would that cost you, is my question? I just left mine alone and stuck with the DBW plug and play.... No extra expense unless there is no salary cap on your build......

It's easier and cheaper to use the DBW set up you have... plus now you can easily add cruise control.
