Can't communate with bcm?

Can't communate with bcm? I have a 69 camaro with a 2008 z0-6 drive train and wiring harness and the bcm won't let me comm. with it with either a tech-2 or a GM mdi module I have power,ground class 2 data and gmland hi speed in my dlc conn. i can read class-2 data but no bcm or ecm Thank's Bob

What will you be using the BCM for?
I'd be interested as well in how to do this to run AC module and cruise.
There are available Tech2 standlone adaptors to benchtop program the BCM directly.
I think they do this at dealer if BCM has to be replaced.

You are correct. what I've done is put a complete drive line and suspension in a 69 camaro. I've used The abs-ebcm-ecm,bcm,guages,power door locks and rc lock module heat and power seats I took the corvette wiring and adaped it to the camaro. Every thing works but I can't program a key fob to crank the car because i can't talk with the BCM BUT after today I think I may know what my problem is. while I was checking oams on my DLC on my gmland wires I noticed my reading would change when i wiggled the plug in the BCM I guess the pins are loose in the connector tomorrow will tell Thank's Bob

My data line has 60 ohms with power off but with power on it goes less than 10 I have a new 09 vette i also checked to compare and with ign on it between 200-350. Now my 69 leaves the BCM and goes to brake module then deads end into ECM. I can bypass brake module and go straight to ECM and same thing less than 10 ohms. Does this mean I have a ECM problem? thank's Bob

You can't check resistance when the power is on because the modules are talking on it. I could be wrong here, but doesn't the corvette use the driver and passenger door modules and the rcdlr to know that the key fob is inside the car?

Try bypassing the other modules and direct wire to the ECM so you can plug in the scan tool (TechII?) to ECM only and prove the GMLAN into the ECM. Then one by one add the other modules back in.
