I'm doing an LS motor in in an 88 Mustang with and AJE k-member. I just found out that I have the old design drivers header and having the same issues as everyone else. Just e-mailed Dynatech like Greg said. Hopefully they take care of me like they did for you all. I've got a few more LS swaps to do and hoping to use their headers on the future cars too.

Hey Tim,
Yeah I know whats going on with the header mistakes Dynatech made early on. I read this whole thread, and I'm a pretty avid follower of your build as well. I bought these from a friend which I also bought the car from.

You know what, not everybody builds their project car in 2 weeks. I bought this car as an unfinished project and the headers came with it. I'm not asking for anything ridiculous, just the same exchange offer that other people were able to take advantage of. This is Dynatech's opportunity to make me a customer for life, or send me packing and take my business elsewhere.
FWIW, I have 3 more LS swaps lined up to do for other people. I guess how this is handled determines where I get the headers for those cars...

So the guy you bought the car from bought the wrong part# after dynatech fixed their mistake. The problem is the first header would not fix the fox. You have a fox header that will not fit a sn-95.
I really have a hard time feeling for you at all.
Call any manufacture and see what the return policy is.
If you paid shipping on both trips maybe.
They are in business to make and sell parts. Two years after the fact you find that the guy you bought the car from screwed up and you want them to make it right. Lol Good luck
I can't even count how many things I have bought over the years that I thought would work and didn't. I just resell them and count my losses. Just the way it goes when building cars

Tim you are being a dick. Im not on here badmouthing Dynatech or asking for anything I don't deserve. How do you know the previous owner screwed up. If im not mistaken, the issue was that people were ordering fox headers and getting a drivers side one that doesnt clear the steering shaft and has a collector that points right at the trans crossmember. They sold a product that doesnt fit, they should replace it for one that does.

When these headers were built by dynatech they were built on a sn95. Per aje who's k member they were using the sn95 and fox were the same for the steering shaft location. Aje was wrong. I was the first person Greg talked with about this. There were between 15-18 sets sold at that point. They brought a car in that week redid the fox header for that side. The pass header is the same.
The collector is left long for the user to trim as needed for the application.
If you have a sn95 and a fox set of headers the wrong part # was bought. The issue has always been the fox car not the sn95.
You are the one that said if they don't take care of this you will not use their stuff.
