That engine sounds great in the Lexus. Nice to know one will fit.

Thanks so much guys it really means a lot. I put a lot of hard work into this car. I plan to drive it and dyno it today!!

I bet you will like the idle of my old mr2. I sold it about 1 week befor I started the lexus project.

Wow man... VERY impressive build quality, especially given how fast youre moving along! I cant wait to see some driving vids of this. You could surprise a lot of folks on the highway. Especialy like seeing that you just put a plain jane exhaust exit on it. Sleeeeeeeper. Except for the sounds coming out of it

Keep up the good work and keep us posted! This is the kind of new thread I like seeing...lots of fast progress and great pictures. Not having to wait weeks for an update.

So I put the car on the scales last night and did a corner balance. I was suprized by how light it was 3280 with a half tank of gas.

I also made a nice 4 inch intake. Since the MAF is 3.5 inch I welded some 4 inch aluminum to it.....with a welder you can do anything.

The ls1 setup is lighter compared to a 2jz setup.

Today I drove the car about 100 miles. Everything seems to be working perfect. I'm very happy with the car. It pulls hard and handles great. Brakes are way better than stock and the coilovers ride better than stock.

Car made decent power for being stock with only headers, exhaust and intake.

Quick vid. I was tapping the brakes since the dyno brakes were not working very well.
