Default New ECU Pins? (Adding Fan Control)

I have the proper crimper, but where can I find new ECU pins? I would like to add fan control to my harness, but don't want to splice wires if I can help it. A part number would be even better.

While Im asking, is it better to run the fans on their own with a sensor, or allow the ECU to control them??

powerandsignal.com pn 12084913-L

If they won't sell in low quantity just try googling that pn and see what you can find.

If you only need 1 or 2 just get ripped off by the dealer
If you need a bunch of them, I get them from Mouser

Well Im considering re-routing the PCM so it could be 100+ pins.

While Im asking, what is the wire gauge size?

Oh, and thanks for the PN...

your factory harness is going to be mostly 20 gauge with some 18 and 22 gauge in there also.

Why not avoid splicing them. I figure I have the tools, time to avoid any splices so why not. Ive done them in the past though. I want a harness with minimal splices in it.

I have no problems with splices. Im just picky about details, and when the Jeep is several miles from civilization, I don't want to worry about a bad splice. Normally I would use splices as needed, but Im tryin to avoid them if I can with this build.

On my wiring I took some of the unused wires/pins I had removed from the harness that weren't being used, such as EVAP stuff or A/C stuff, and added them at the proper pin locations for fan control. You will have to have the PCM programmed for fan control if it did not have it previously.

I have a bunch left over, and I have a habit of not throwing things away. Let me know what you need and I can most likely help.

Yeah, I didn't think of this till later, but I have to run 100% of the emissions stuff. Either way, Im going to re-route the harness to the back passenger side for my jeep so I will be re crimping a bunch of ends anyway. Should be fun...
