Oil Pan---Lh8
Headers---2" long tubes brp hotrod
Accessories---stock fbody
I made 1, but it goes straight accross. I would like my exhaust tucked up higher. It looks like a th400 can be used with only little mods.
Oh ya, this is for my 72 with a 4l65e tranny.
Thanks
Is there a aftermarket one you can buy that just bolts in? I wanna make sure the pinion angle is on the money etc, otherwise what works that someone has modified to make work with the correct angle etc.
Thanks
try G-Force as a starter, they seem to have many models and opnions for most cars.

Thanks for maintaining this thread. It's a wealth of info. I'm not sure if you'd want to take it on, but it might be good to include 1st & 2nd gen F bodies also since swap info for those also applies to '68-'79 Novas.
And you keep updating yours... remember, your tinkering helps others figure out what NOT to do.
I have a few questions but have been reading for a long time.... one thing that still gets me is people talk about one inch set back mounts is that one inch back from where the stock motor was so it moves the trans back one inch or is that one inch back so it mates to the trans in the stock location?
I bought a set of mount back when i was going to do this the first time and i think they are wrong. I just want to keep the trans where it is so i don't have to get another new drive shaft.
it is going to be a stock (for now) LS3 in a 70 nova th400 nine inch ladder bar car.
