In past years there were still doings going on on Sunday. Looking forward to next year already

Pat alot of the guys pulled out friday night after the fireworks because of the gangs that were hanging around our hotel, I mean we pulled out earlier than normal by a couple hours.

Here are a couple of twin turbo LS Motors, both were extremely well done. The first is a 65 Chevelle, very plain Jane looking, great sleeper. Sorry no picture of the car. He said it was a sleeved LS6 block bore out to 388 cu in. I wonder about the maniforld and fuel rail though.

And a custom '53 Studebaker, that I like a lot, but I'm prejudiced. It is a 454 cu in LSX block

And a couple for fun

Wagon runs and hauls the mail!

Twin turbos blowing into a roots blower on top of a tunnel ram. It was driving around.

Machine guns have bullets running through them

Anyone else see the inherent problem with that twincharged car?

Here is a hint, if those turbos kick in, the car will cease to get fuel

We had quite a debate about that. Some thought the turbos did not have impellers in them and one guy was betting there was a carb inside the blower housing. They guy who was driving said it all works, but he had a pretty good poker face. The car had a lot of neat design features including the alternator being driven by a belt and pulley off the pinion shaft. No charging when moving slow or idling, but he had a huge series 30 battery.

1) I can see if the Blower could not keep up with the amount of air the turbo is pushing, the change would blow out through the carb ! as I don't see a waste gate or anything to prevent it between the carb and the inlet from the turbo charge. !?!?!

2) What is metering the air/fuel charge from the turbo ? just straight air ! could be a very lean condition ?

3) Could be just dummy turbo's ?
