Nissan 630sx 383 LS1 in a 240 (more pics)
After a few years of saving and some free time, here's what I've come up with for my 95 Nissan 240sx or better named 630sx
plenty of work left before I get to hear it run
its a 383 stroker, big cam, afr heads, nitrous later on
waiting on my silvia conversion fenders, no body work is done yet but I do have 50mm wide fenders, complete silvia conversion, painting car pepper grey.
custom headers by sikky have pretty good clearance
wilwood clutch master cylinder
aeromotive stealth fuel cell
still need to make brackets to hold intake tubing
wished sway bar was a little lower to protect oil pan
315/35/17 nitto drag radials
still need to put in a dash and seats
hoping for 500rwhp on motor plus a 250shot of nitrous, which will be worthless on the stock 7.8" nissan diff, so after I get it running, I want to put a ford 9" and I think mazworks makes a housing just need to find someone to put it in.
I was making good progress on the car untill Toyota issued a crap load of recalls, which is great cause I'm making lots of money but I want to work on my car. So hoping within 2 months I can get it running.
So, suggestions, questions, remarks, opinions, all is welcomed

Finally got some time to make some progress
Wilwood big brake kit front. I put some slotted stock size rotors on the rear
off road x-pipe
Borla chambered XR-1 muffler, I'm happy the exhaust doesn't hang too low but I had to remove the sway bar temporarily, waiting for sikky's dual exhaust sway bar or an infinity j30 sway bar turned upside down
Couldn't find any tips that I liked finally found these on autozone's website of all places
couple of fuel lines and wires left now
yes I know they're white, that is everyone's first words when they see them, but I have always liked white leather so why not. I have a fixed aluminum seat for the track got to have reclineability for street use.
Should look familiar to any late model cavalier owners, stocked dash was sun baked and airbags had deployed so I thought I could easily find a stock replacement so I trashed it couldn't find one anywhere within 5 hours of louisiana and a brand new one cost $1500 so next alternative, sheet metal dash or a fiber glass molding of whatever I wanted in this case Chevy Cavalier (wanted a gto dash but it's too wide)
S15 conversion pics
my daily driver for now, always liked nissans but got tired of 4 bangers

ecu's are being reflashed so that after the ecu detects the vehicle going 15mph if the brakes are applied it will bring motor to an idle, also the process which is b/s but it pays good is cutting about 1 1/2 inches off the pedal and reshaping some padding underneath the carpet.
The dash which is a cavalier just for some reason i thought it was the gto but the gto dash was too wide, cavalier dash was 55inches same as existing dash. Dash was 250 plus shipping and Madman from MADman racing inc. in baton rouge installed it for 400 i think, theres some sheet metal behind where the gauges go so you dont have to remove the gauges to remove dash.

Looking nice. Love it when people mix and match parts, now you have a one of a kind.
Wanted to say that rear diff should hold up to that motor, although probably not with that much nitrous. should be a fast car.

Nice, keep the pics coming. Oh, and just so you know, the GTO dash will work with some modding. Here's some pics of a GTO dash in a S13
I personally don't care for the hood on this car, but to each his own.

I have looked into it but doesn't the q45 diff bring the ratio to 3.54, and i haven't found any gear sets for it, I need the 4.11 gear ratio for the cam I got well don't need but it will be better for it.

I use to have a t56 in my car with same combo. Trust me , u will be WAY more happy with the 3.54. Plus if u ever decide u wanna go fast u will need the longer gear for the 3 speed. Manuals are fun but u will be fighting way too many problems in a 240 with weak parts and suspension setups with a manual. IF your lookin for a max effort street car. If u are lookin just to have fun driving , a 6 speed is hard to beat. I have had my swap 3 years and would be glad to help with my personal advice and mistakes along the way.

The stock gears were horrible in mine. I could spin my 275's from a 70 mph punch. I went with the 97 q45 3.69 diff and it was so much better. With my new build I'm probably going to go with the 3.54 setup. You get the big axles with that setup too.

q45 it is then, I just didn't want to spend money building up the rear suspension if I was going to put a 9" in, but there's been plenty of people who suggested putting the q45 diff in so why not. just one question are all q45 diffs limited slip or if not what vin should I look for?
And also is it take the pass side q45 axle and put in on driver side and take a driver side 300zx tt axle and put it on the pass side?

s15 fenders finally came from japan I ordered them june 06, 2009!!! Now I can put on the front bumper, sideskirts and rear fenders.
Taking a week vacation from work to finish the car next week so hopefully I'll post some videos if all goes well.

I almost did a carbed ls1 in my 240, i wanted to do every possible conversion possible, s15 conversion, ls1 swap , carbed ls1, and rhd conversion, but I invested my money and time in going fast instead.
