Check the carbed data base for more details.
1966 Nova carbed 6.0 escalade motor ASA cam victor intake 3000 lbs,4000 converter and 487 gear,1.52 60 ft.
Not bad for the first time out. This was done on 295 radials.Nobody at the track could believe it was a junkyard motor.Gotta love the LSX !!

nice times, my first time out in my stang was 7.05 @ 97mph with a 1.56 60ft. Thats with a LQ4, cam, carb, 4:11, 3200 stall and Im around 3000lbs. My best to date is 6.91 @ 100mph but is still so humid and hot. Ive been playing with the timing and it seems to be getting stronger and stronger. Hopefully in some cool weather I will see some 80's maybe 70's. It will get faster as you go.

its a 244/250 .612 .620 on a 113lsa. Maybe a little to big but I got it used at a good deal. My compression is around 9.8:1. All my parts where used and really dont have alot of money in the motor. I may have 2500 from intake to oil pan maybe less. My carb is a different story tho its a pro systems and gave around 700 for it. I really think I need more conveter it. It stalls around 2K off the footbrake but it dont start pulling to around 4. Hopefully this winter I will get my combo right and shoot for some 6.50's. Its always room for improvement.
Oh yea I have my total timing at 35 too. Seems to respond well around there

Key4 are you still on 317 heads? did you have any ptv issues? I'm really deciding on l92 or 243 to bump up the comp. going in a s10 th 350 4000 stall 411 9" truck ran really good with the old 400 that was in it/ 6.50 range but wanted something I could drive around alittle on the street that doesn't drink race gas.....Should I just throw a cam in it and go have fun or throw some l92's on it ....and a custom ground cam...

Well, i took the car back to the track.Sprayed 150 and ran 6.50 @103.1.31 60 ft.I had the timing way to retarded at first 23degrees.It came out hard but laid down @5500 rpms.I kept bumping the timing till it ran clean and the plugs looked good. The end of the season is near and i will be hitting it with 200 and see what happens.Wish me luck!
