Default headers

Edelbrock has a mid length header that works great in a 1st gen camaro. Part #65172 for $445 at jegs. Mine fit great plenty of clearance.

Any trade off in Horse Power with the mid lengths Vs. Long Tubes?

Default headers

Don't know put my car sit so low I can not run full length headers had the same problem when I had the big block in it I even run oval tubing for exaust pipe so it all tucks up above the frame. They look great and fit nice.

Cool, I'll keep that option in mind Bigkeebler, thanks for the tip!

I was looking for these too for my 69 Chevelle swap. I guess will keep an eye out. All I saw were stupid money and buy it now pricing, no auction type sales.

Discontinued from what I know. You might find at a local speed shop...maybe?

The driver side header did clear the steering box, though I had to take the box off the frame to get the header in. I went in from the bottom. You might be able to go in from the top if you haven't put your master cylinder on yet. The tubes clear the box by about an inch, it's tight. The passenger side dropped right in from the top.

I can't believe is missed this question.......sorry.

Any pics? Any updates on ground clearance? That is the only concern I have with the Edelbrocks, that and trying to locate a pair now that they are discontinuing the entire exhaust program...
