How are the brake on it? I heard the best thing is to modify the brak pedal pivit point for better manual brakes. Like this

Made some hits Friday night. Car has a lot more in it. Didn't realize that when running the timing pins in the msd 6LS box that the rev limit was set at a low 5500 rpms.

Well made a few more hits last night. Adjusted the rev limit to 7100 and this was the final result 12.183 @ 119 with a 2.08 60' the converter is defiantly next on the list to be changed.

I would hope so. It has a 2200 stall right now, was something I had laying around.

Couple videos from last Friday night. Didn't get the 12.18 pass on video as the camera batteries went dead.

Very impressive. Get the sixty times down to a more reasonable 1.5xx and you will be going 11.4's easily.

I may of missed it, but how much does the car weigh?

put at least a 4500 stall in it and it will get ya real close to 10s. From the first vid it was just starting to run when the rev limiter kicked in, it sounds like its starts to run about 5000 rpm.

Not sure of the new race weight but with the old 5.0/TKO setup the car weighed 2862 w/o driver.

I am borrowing a 10" 4200 stall converter to do some testing. Hopefully make some hits next week.

yeah your still not launching hard like you need to be.. you should be able to foot brake the 4200 stall and it want to pull the tires up and cut those 60' way down.. hope to see you in the low 11's soon..

nice project. I think with a different converter mid 11's shouldn't be a problem with at least a 1.60 60ft
