The painting process for the block was:

4. Clean and DX330 again
5. Prime with my Primer that goes to my PPG Paint for the truck (European)
6. Sprayed out 2 layers of the Copperhead PPG Custom paint.
7. Sprayed 2 layers of PPG (eqivilent) clear.

From the GM Performance Parts Catalog:
Part Number: 19171500
Valve Cover Kit—GM Performance Parts/LSX, Polished
• Polished finished with Black GM Performance Parts and LSX logos
I got a pretty good deal though my local Chevy dealership they ordered them for me. By googling the part number they seem to go for about $350-$375. I didn't know what to expect to come with the kit but it was nice they came with new gaskets, special chrome bolts and a chrome oil fill cap. They look even better in person than pictures.
