Default 66 Chevelle, Can I use my stock throttle pedal torque arm??

I am wondering if I have room to do like pictures of TomM's 66 nova. Anyone do something similar? If so what throttle cable's did you buy?

Thanks!

Saw that, Thanks Tom.

So I know it works in a Nova, but what about a 66 Chevelle? Guess I'll just have to try it if noone else has.

Can you post a picture of the throttle arm at the firewall.......I looked up the rod on Ground up, and the end looks very similar to the Nova.......right down to the bushings.....

Yeah.. most GM are about the same in design.. but if not, I used Lokar's Cable for LS1, either way should work.

Looks like it will work, at best you may have to remove the arm, and enlarge the hole to fit the carb bushing, if you decide to go that way. If not, you can adapt the ball stud to what you have. So unless your block is right up against the firewall, you should be fine, You can always add a bracket to the existing arm to give you more reach......
