Temp sending unit mod OK this is for a friend. He is in Afghanastan and having a LS1 swap into his 92 S10 Blazer here in the states while he is gone. Question is: Does anybody have a drawing to modify the original 4.3 temp sending unit to fit a LS1? I understand the LS is a 12x1.5 metric thread, which being a machinist I can do for him. I think the engine is in the truck already and he doesn't want to drill and tap the hole to fit the 4.3 sender. I know it needs to be a gasket seat, but how long are the threads? Just a good picture would help me a lot. Thanks

Do you have a part number? Im having a hard time finding it on orllies web site.
What about the plug that plugs into the 3 wire sensor? i think the tps plug will work but i haven't confirmed because i don't have a sensor.

This is exactly what I am doing. Milltronics cnc lathe works wonders for me. Takes about 10 minutes to set it up and and less than 5 to cut it.
