Are you going to try and hide the intercooler with a different bumper cover? I think you should get a Saleen one and just sleeperize the hell out of it.

no not trying to hide it. im trying to get as much air to it as possible. i could care less what it looks like. that is the stock bumper that i just cut to fit... it is a straight 4" dp out the front bumper. doesnt matter what it looks like it wont be a sleeper. and the saleen bumper sickens me.

Looking good. Get some supports under that fuel cell though, those tabs are to hold it in place, not support it's weight.

what are you using for front spindles now that it is a front steer set up? Could you have gotten away with a GTO pan and just lowered the stock rack a couple of inches? Thanks! Looks good

Wicked! How long did it take you to fab up the subframe? Any mods to the firewall?

Awesome work!

stock front spindles swapped sides. the gto pan wouldnt work. after i got the engine where it needed to be without being inside the cab the stock rack location was even with the torque converter. ive got 1/8" clearance on the brake booster so it cant go back any more.

not long to fab up the one i have. it has been redesigned once b/c i wasnt happy with the first design, so it has taken a while to get to the this point. but after i decided on how i should do it, it didnt take long to get it finished.

i redid the water pump neck. it was holding air b/c it was up higher than the rad cap. i made it a 90 and put a fitting on top. also that is where the air filter will be

before

after

i got the rear finished besides the sheet metal work and different wheels. the car is sitting on its own 4 wheels now. i also started for the first time in a while. battery is pretty much dead and my alt doesnt charge yet. engine sounds much better and doesnt smoke any more.

here are some pics. kinda hard to tell any thing b/c it is so dark and it looks a little goofy with 15's in the front and 17's in the rear but oh well.

and here is a video of it running. no tuning has been done yet. i have solid mount and it barely vibrates the camera. gotta love that dead battery

steering. consists of flaming river u-joint, 3/4" DD shaft, and a hyme joint.

drive shaft. stock alum drive shaft out of a 4x4 explorer with conversion u-joints to make it fit the mustang rearend and th400.

my fix to the air in the cooling system problem and its inability to bleed out b/c the cap was lower than the head/water pump.

I love the high tech ultra secure starting system. Pure comedy.

What tune / log software is that?
