thats a great project, everything looks good, can you tell me what you did to your oil pickup when you cut your oil pan? I was wondering because I cut my pickup and re welded it, I hope it works! thanks

I also cut and welding the pickup as you can kind of see in the picture below. It worked without an issues until I took it off and replaced it with an f-body setup.

Thanks, I try hard to make the wiring look right. When I started this I had never soldered a wire before so I am happy with my work but if I did it again it would look much better. Here is how I am doing the harness for a 6.0 that my brother is putting in a 59 chevy wagon.







All of this i one piece loom so i had to take any wires that were prejoined (ie power and grounds for the coils) and split them, then join them pack together after the loom ends, which will be inside the car.

Diggin the build! You're an artist with that wiring harness. I don't know how anyone would have the patience. Nicely done!

Where did you get the transmission tunnel piece?

The hump for the shifter came with the transmission kit, but I'm pretty sure that those are pretty easy to find from National Parts Depot. Then the rest of the patch for hole was the part that I cut off the top with some pieces added in to fill the gap.

They are Hooker A-body swap headers. Fitment is really good, but they require relocation of the stock brake distribution block.
